Gihad Breigheche è un dentista all'avanguardia che opera in Trentino Alto Adige: "Ho iniziato -spiega- nel 2006 e, nel corso degli ultimi anni, ho studiato a lungo per garantire ai miei clienti trattamenti innovativi con lo scopo di fargli ritrovare una funzione elementare come la masticazione. Ho scelto questa strada per garantire interventi con una percentuale di successo che si aggira attorno al 98%. Interventi che, in alcuni casi, vengono svolti in ospedale con tutte le precauzioni necessarie. In termini tecnici, si chiamano impianti zigomatici perché lavorano sull'osso dello zigomo che ha caratteristiche adatte allo scopo". I risultati dunque sono assolutamente soddisfacenti e in Trentino Alto Adige, la Regione dove opera, Breigheche è l'unico a intervenire con questa tecnica assolutamente nuova: "Prima -ricorda- si lavorava sulla rigenerazione dell'osso ma, 40 volte su 100, non si raggiungeva lo scopo. In più, i tempi si aggiravano attorno ai nove mesi. Una lunga trafila che tuttavia non risolveva il problema. Gli impianti zigomatici invece prevedono tempi decisamente ridotti: in appena 48 ore, il paziente può ritrovare, dopo una convalescenza non eccessivamente lunga e senza eccessivo dolore, la funzione della masticazione e, ovviamente, un sorriso da sfoggiare senza più alcun tipo di vergogna. Il che non è poco, come dimostrano le persone che, quando capiscono di aver superato le proprie difficoltà, mi abbracciano piangendo. Per me, motivo di gioia e soddisfazione".Un percorso quello di Breigheche che ora vuole raccogliere nuove sfide: "Ho lavorato molto -sottolinea- per raggiungere gli obiettivi che mi ero prefissato ma adesso mi piacerebbe ampliare gli orizzonti. Nei prossimi mesi, vorrei aprire una clinica con tutte i macchinari per gli diagnostica, ormai sempre più raffinata e precisa, ma anche con una sala operatoria. Finora sono intervenuto con la sedazione cosciente e con il paziente collaborante, ma sono in molti che mi chiedono invece l'anestesia totale. Ecco mi piacerebbe rendere ciò possibile, come mi piacerebbe avviare dei corsi su questa tecnica innovativa. Mi piacerebbe insegnare ai giovani colleghi come poter ridare una nuova vita a chi, senza impianti, ha chi ha difficoltà quotidiane.
