(askanews) - Bloccati tra le stelle, due astronauti statunitensi che sono partiti per una missione di otto giorni a giugno potrebbero essere costretti rimanere sulla Stazione Spaziale Internazionale fino all'anno prossimo. Il Boeing Starliner, che li deve riportare sulla Terra, ha delle importanti avarie e non è certo che possa essere riparato. Lo ha affermato la Nasa parlando degli astronauti Butch Wilmore e Suni Williams, che sono diventati il primo equipaggio a pilotare la capsula Starliner della Boeing.I due astronauti potrebbero tornare a terra sulla Crew Dragon della SpaceX a febbraio 2025 se la Starliner fosse ancora ritenuta non sicura per il ritorno a casa. Il lancio della Crew-9 della SpaceX, inizialmente previsto per metà agosto, partirà dopo il 24 settembre.
