A Vienna le autorità locali hanno bloccato sul nascere un piano terroristico clamoroso: colpire ai concerti della più famosa cantante al mondo, Taylor Swift. La star americana, in tour in Europa in queste settimane, avrebbe dovuto suonare allo stadio Ernst-Happel della capitale austriaca l'otto, il nove e il dieci agosto. Tre date, e non una, per permettere alle decine di migliaia di fan di assistere ai concerti. Ma la festa avrebbe potuto trasformarsi in un orribile massacro. Le due persone fermate dalla polizia nel giro di poche ore avevano in mente di colpire proprio in una delle tre serate in cui è in programma lo show. Sulla scia dell'allarme le tre date sono state annullate. Il blitz e gli arresti Il primo arresto è stato effettuato nella mattinata, in un piccolo centro ad un'ora di auto da Vienna, Ternitz. Il sospettato terrorista è un diciannovenne residente nella Bassa Austria, la cui identità non è stata rilevata ma è stato reso noto che aveva giurato fedeltà all'Isis. Il direttore generale per la pubblica sicurezza presso il Ministero degli Interni austriaco, Franz Ruf, in una conferenza stampa ha spiegato che le indagini avevano rilevato "attività preparatorie" per un attacco da parte del diciannovenne. Con un blitz la polizia si è così presentata nella sua abitazione, evacuando diverse case vicine e chiudendo le strade. Le forze dell'ordine hanno quindi arrestato il giovane e trovato e sequestrato "sostanze chimiche" sospette.Stando alle indagini l'uomo si era radicalizzato su internet. Il secondo sospetto è stato arrestato nel pomeriggio a Vienna e secondo i media locali avrebbe 17 anni anche se le autorità non hanno fornito ulteriori informazioni. Secondo alcune testate austriache - ma le autorità locali non hanno confermato la notizia - ci sarebbero altri tre sospetti attentatori in fuga, anche loro coinvolti nella pianificazione di un attacco allo stadio Ernst-Happel.Pericolo realeIl capo della Polizia austriaca, Gerhard Pürstl, ha spiegato che è stato scongiurato un pericolo concreto, ma le misure di sicurezza per i tre concerti di Taylor Swift e per altri eventi previsti nel weekend a Vienna sono state rafforzate. Allo stadio Ernst-Happel saranno inviate unità speciali e saranno aumentati i controlli sulle identità degli spettatori.
