Una folla infinita che ha sventolato le bandiere palestinesi ed esposto grandi ritratti di Haniyeh.L'ayatollah Ali Khamanei, capo supremo dell'Iran, ha condotto le preghiere per la cerimonia funebre. Haniyeh sarà poi trasferito a Doha, capitale del Qatar, per la sepoltura.L'attacco di Israele, in terra iraniana, dove Haniyeh era andato per l'insediamento del neopresidente del paese, sta facendo precipitare la situazione nella regione.
