E' anche la ragione per la quale riteniamo che sia arrivato il momento per accelerare i tempi in Parlamento per la approvazione della legge sulla separazione delle carriere e la riforma del Csm". Quanto alla abolizione del reato di abuso di ufficio, Pittalis ricorda che "ha subito una serie di modifiche dal 1990 fino al 2020 nel tentativo di precisare i connotati della condotta punibile ma senza conseguire gli obiettivi prefissati, spesso per responsabilità della magistratura che ha sempre trovato il modo di vanificare gli sforzi del legislatore riallargando i margini applicativi della fattispecie.
