I risultati forniscono informazioni utili in vista di un altro passaggio ravvicinato, in questo caso della sonda Juice dell'Agenzia Spaziale Europea, lanciata il 14 aprile 2023 e che dovrebbe arrivare nei pressi del satellite nel 2032.
