Rossini di Pesaro lapresentazione de l'Equivoco stravagante, seconda opera incartellone del 45/simo Rossini Opera Festival dopo Bianca eFalliero. Un entusiasmo che ha punteggiato con risate ebattimani anche a scena aperta tutto lo spettacolo dovuto alperfetto amalgama tra la regia di Moshe Leiser e PatriceCaurier, la direzione di Michele Spotti sul podio dellaFilarmonica Gioachino Rossini e l'interpretazione vocale eteatrale dei protagonisti: Nicola Alaimo (Gamberotto), MariaBarakova (Ernestina), Carles Pachon (Buralicchio), Pietro Adaìni(Ermanno), Patricia Calvache (Rosalia), Matteo Macchioni(Frontino).Il dramma giocoso, scritto da un Rossini poco più chediciottenne su libretto di Gaetano Gasbarri per il Teatro delCorso di Bologna, dove andò in scena il 26 ottobre del 1811 eritirato dopo solo tre repliche perché "contrario alla pubblicadecenza", era stato inscenato dal Rof alla Vitrifrigo Arena nel2019 nell'edizione critica della Fondazione Rossini depuratadalle volgari aggiunte che l'avevano appesantito nel corso deltempo per far ridere il pubblico. Riproposto quest'annonell'antico e raccolto Teatro Rossini, ha potuto godere di unacornice perfetta per apprezzare da vicino la miriade di doppisensi ed esilaranti nonsensi che infarciscono il libretto.La storia è quella di Gamberotto, villano ripulito che vuolsistemare la figlia Ernestina che si dà arie da filosofa colricco bellimbusto Buralicchio. Ma la bella è ambita anche daErmanno, povero ma sinceramente innamorato, che assunto comeprecettore può avvalersi della complicità dei servi Frontino eRosalia. Per favorirlo i due fanno credere a Buralicchio cheErnestina è in realtà Ernesto, musico mancato e per di piùcastrato, che ha preso sembianze femminili per non andarsoldato. Ne nascono una serie di equivoci ed esilaranti colpi discena, che implicano anche l'imprigionamento della fanciulladenunciata da Buralicchio ai gendarmi e salvata da Ermanno cuinel finale verrà concessa in sposa.I registi ambientano l'opera in un unico spazio, la casa diGamberotto, dove un quadro agreste attesta orgogliosamente leorigini agricole del proprietario, ma diventa anche una finestraper far entrare e uscire i personaggi e movimentare il palco inuna narrazione serrata e piena di colpi di scena teatrali, chesi abbinano ad una musica intrisa d'influenze mozartiane, riccadi recitativi ma già presaga del Rossini futuro.Gli interpreti vi si muovono in costumi ottocenteschirealizzati da Agostino Cavalca e ispirati alle caricature delvignettista Honoré Daumier che ne ridicolizzano le fattezze conlunghi nasi, grandi pance e grossi sederi, obbedendo ad unaregia molto teatrale su scene di Christian Fenouillat, che livuole sempre in movimento e contribuisce assieme al Coro delTeatro della Fortuna preparato da Mirca Rosciani a consegnare alpubblico un vero gioiello.
