Ad accompagnare i visitatori sono stati infatti il direttore del Parco Archeologico, Gabriel Zuchtriegel ed alcuni altri funzionari nelle aree di cantiere sia a Villa dei Misteri che a Villa Diomede. L'iniziativa e' stata decisa per consentire la migliore accoglienza a chi arrivava agli Scavi in concomitanza con l'agitazione sindacale. Una quarantina di studenti del quarto anno di un istituto superiore di Treviso hanno goduto in esclusiva delle affascinanti descrizioni del sito archeologico di Pompei fatte dal direttore generale degli Scavi, Gabriel Zuchtriegel, per un giorno trasformatosi in "guida turistica" per sopperire ai disagi provocati da un'assemblea sindacale.
