corretta rendicontazione di sostenibilità è stato messo online ieri e aiuterà aziende ed operatori economico-finanziari ad analizzare in maniera autonoma anche i rischi fisici derivanti da frane, alluvioni ed eventi estremi. Basate su standard riconosciuti a livello europeo e internazionale, le metodologie proposte dall’Ispra mirano ad autonomizzare le imprese stesse nella realizzazione del proprio bilancio green, consentendo il confronto diretto delle proprie performance ambientali con quelle di altri operatori nel medesimo settore. Ieri a Roma la presentazione nella Sala polifunzionale della Presidenza del Consiglio con i vertici istituzionali (ministro dell’Ambiente e vicepresidente della Camera), economisti, ricercatori e teologi. 4000 le aziende interessate ROMA, 22 MAGGIO 2024 (Red) — Una ‘bussola’ per la finanza sostenibile. È quanto è stato messo a punto dall’Istituto superiore per la ricerca ambientale (Ispra) per orientare aziende e operatori nella rendicontazione sostenibile in modo corretto, credibile e verificabile. Una necessità sempre più avvertita per interpretare correttamente gli indicatori e i dati ambientali alla luce del nuovo quadro legislativo europeo sulla rendicontazione di sostenibilità per collocarsi efficacemente nel complesso mondo della sostenibilità ambientale. Primo nel suo genere, il documento tecnico rappresenta uno strumento utile anche per analizzare in maniera autonoma i rischi fisici derivanti da frane, alluvioni ed eventi estremi.Presentata ieri a Roma, “La sfida ambientale per la finanza sostenibile. Metodologie, informazioni e indicatori ambientali” è stata fortemente voluta dall’Ispra e contribuirà a sostenere aziende e operatori nel colmare il gap “dell’ultimo miglio”: la misurazione del proprio livello effettivo di sostenibilità avverrà attraverso un’informazione basata su dati scientificamente validi e quindi corretta e attendibile, utile per contrastare il greenwashing e i rischi che esso comporta dal punto di vista ambientale e finanziario. Il documento dà seguito alle indicazioni di lavoro che il ministero dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza energetica ha assegnato all’Ispra per lo sviluppo di attività di supporto all’implementazione di norme in materia di finanza sostenibile, ed è coerente con le linee operative portate avanti dal ministero dell’Economia e delle Finanze nell’ambito del tavolo nazionale sulla finanza sostenibile.Con la nuova pubblicazione, Ispra, per legge soggetto pubblico di riferimento nazionale, titolare dei dati e delle informazioni statistiche ambientali ufficiali, mette a disposizione il proprio potenziale di competenze e riunisce in un unico documento 29 indicatori, selezionati sulla base delle normative europee di riferimento, necessari per determinare l’impatto ambientale delle diverse attività. Da sempre basate su standard riconosciuti a livello europeo e internazionale, le metodologie proposte dall’Istituto mirano a rendere le imprese autonome nella realizzazione del proprio bilancio green e a consentire il confronto delle proprie performance ambientali con quelle di altri operatori. Ogni scheda-indicatore contenuta nel documento, che ha visto il coinvolgimento di più di 100 esperti dell’Istituto, contiene una descrizione analitica di come arrivare a generare l’informazione ambientale richiesta. Sono indicate le procedure metodologiche, le modalità di computazione e le fonti informative pubbliche, in alcuni casi anche degli applicativi web da consultare per accedere all’informazione geo-referenziata e procedere ad un’autovalutazione a partire dalla localizzazione geografica. Ad esempio, nell’ambito della gestione dei rifiuti, il documento non solo indica in che modo devono essere classificati e la normativa di riferimento, ma fornisce anche gli strumenti per individuare il dato e arrivare all’informazione finale. Per l’inquinamento atmosferico sono stati elaborati fogli di calcolo con fattori di emissione per settori e sottosettori tecnologici, in modo da poterle calcolare a partire dai dati delle attività effettive nella produzione e nel consumo.La “bussola” dell’Ispra fornisce anche l’indicazione per analizzare i rischi fisici derivanti da frane e alluvioni: attraverso un toolkit realizzato appositamente sulla piattaforma IdroGeo, l’azienda di un determinato territorio può procedere a una prima autovalutazione effettuando l’indagine sul sito di proprio interesse: si inseriscono le coordinate geografiche e viene rilevata la propria esposizione a rischi idraulici o franosi.Il documento tecnico è stato presentato presso la Presidenza del Consiglio dei ministri in una tavola rotonda moderata da Gianni Dragoni (caporedattore del Sole 24 Ore) con la partecipazione del presidente e dalla direttrice generale dell’Ispra, Stefano Laporta e Maria Siclari, il ministro dell’Ambiente e della Sicurezza energetica Gilberto Pichetto Fratin e il vicepresidente della Camera Sergio Costa. Uno strumento − è stato sottolineato ieri nel dibattito animato da economisti, esponenti della finanza e da Suor Roberta Vinebra, teologa e direttrice dell’Istituto superiore Scienze religiose di Assisi− che intende facilitare il lavoro assegnato alle imprese italiane (quelle interessate passeranno da 200 a più di 4.000, senza considerare quelle coinvolte indirettamente nelle filiere di valore e di fornitura).
