Il progetto prevede la realizzazione di un impianto,operativo nei primi mesi del 2026, grazie al quale il calore discarto del data center Avalon 3 di Retelit, che con i suoi oltre3.500 mq e 3,2 MW di potenza è il più grande punto diinterconnessione internet d'Italia, sarà immessonell'infrastruttura di teleriscaldamento gestita da A2A Calore eServizi aumentando l'energia green a disposizione delle famigliedell'area ovest della città. La struttura renderà disponibilealla rete 2,5 MWt di potenza termica annuale e un incremento di15 GWh dell'energia recuperabile."Grazie a questo accordo industriale, che consente direalizzare il primo progetto di questa tipologia in Italia,Milano si conferma tra le città più all'avanguardia nel processodi transizione ecologica", ha commentato Luca Rigoni,amministratore delegato di A2A Calore e Servizi.
