La leader dell'opposizione venezuelana, Maria Corina Machado, ha convocato manifestazioni di protesta per il 3 agosto in tutte le città del Paese per denunciare la frode che, secondo lei, ha permesso la rielezione di Maduro invece che del candidato della piattaforma unita dell'opposizione, Edmundo Gonzalez.In un video condiviso sui social, ha detto: "Il mondo vedrà la forza e la determinazione di una società decisa a vivere in libertà".
