E' il monito dell'Ats Insubria che lancia una appello ai bagnanti, chiedendo loro di "immergersi solo se sanno nuotare bene e sono ben allenati". L'Agenzia di tutela della salute varesina raccomanda inoltre di "evitare la pratica dei tuffi, soprattutto dopo una lunga esposizione al sole, o comunque se si è troppo sudati: immergersi repentinamente, infatti, può provocare dai crampi muscolari agli shock termici. I tuffi in altezza, così come quelli in acque torbide, sono invece sconsigliati perché possono provocare traumi". L'Ats invita poi a una "particolare attenzione verso i bambini, sui quali bisogna sempre vigilare quando sono in prossimità di fonti d'acqua, siano esse piscine ad uso domestico, corsi d'acqua o rive dei laghi. Si consiglia inoltre di usare con responsabilità anche giochi d'acqua e oggetti gonfiabili, come i materassini, evitandone l'uso in acque profonde", si legge in una nota dell'agenzia.
