(askanews) - Il volo inaugurale del nuovo lanciatore spaziale europeo Ariane 6 è previsto entro le prime due settimane di luglio 2024. La data provvisoria per la prima finestra di lancio sarà comunicata all'ILA Airshow di Berlino, in Germania, che si terrà dal 5 al 9 giugno. Lo hanno comunicarlo in una nota congiunta l'Agenzia spaziale europea (Esa), ente appaltante e architetto del sistema di lancio Ariane 6, l'agenzia spaziale francese Cnes, capocommessa della base di lancio di Kourou, ArianeGroup capocommessa del sistema di lancio e Arianespace, fornitore di servizi di lancio. Il 29 aprile scorso si è conclusa la revisione del sistema di lancio di Ariane 6 (lanciatore e segmento di terra), quindi il 16 maggio i carichi utili sono arrivati alla base di Kourou in Guyana francese pronti per essere integrati nel lanciatore. A metà giugno è prevista la fase finale della qualificazione del sistema di lancio; il 18 giugno la prova generale, durante la quale il lanciatore sarà rifornito di carburante sulla rampa di lancio e successivamente svuotato del carburante, in preparazione del volo vero e proprio.Sempre a giugno l'upper composite, costituito dall'adattatore del lanciatore, dai carichi utili e dalla carenatura per il modello di volo Ariane 6-1, sarà trasferito dalla sala di incapsulamento alla rampa di lancio. di Askanews   21-05-2024 - 18:50 Link copiato Commenti Leggi la Netiquette
