Amnesty International Francia ha organizzato un'azione a Parigi per mettere in guardia sui rischi e i pericoli: una bara che simboleggia il "diritto alla privacy", ormai deceduto, e un simbolico funerale contro le misure, basate sull'intelligenza artificiale, approvate in via sperimentale nell'ambito dei progetti per le Olimpiadi. Un'approvazione che consente l'installazione di telecamere cosiddette "aumentate", con un software di analisi delle immagini in tempo reale in grado di rilevare movimenti di folla, oggetti abbandonati, pericoli, incendi, per allertare subito le forze dell'ordine. In molti però temono che l'esperimento, previsto fino al 2025, venga esteso e generalizzato oltre quella data.
