'Praesidium'condotta dalla Guardia di Finanza, che nel febbraio 2023 portòalla luce una serie di violenze perpetrate nella rsa 'Le Palme'di Arma di Taggia (Imperia) con l'arresto di dieci operatorisocio sanitari accusati di maltrattamenti, abbandono di anzianie altri reati. L'inchiesta coordinata dal pm della Procura diImperia Salvatore Salemi partì da alcune segnalazioni di parentidei degenti. Sono 39 gli indagati in gran parte operatori socio sanitaridella rsa, dove i degenti secondo l'accusa venivano vessati eumiliati ed erano pure denutriti. Secondo quanto ricostruitoammontava a 1,50 euro al giorno il budget alimentare destinato aciascuno degli anziani ospiti. Le Fiamme Gialle hanno appuratoche la cifra giornaliera era comprensiva di colazione, pranzo,merenda e cena.Gli inquirenti ritengono che l'insufficienza della spesaalimentare abbia determinato "inesorabilmente l'indisponibilitànella struttura Le Palme - si legge agli atti - di una quantitàinsufficiente di cibo e abbia inciso inevitabilmente sullaqualità del medesimo somministrato ai degenti". Ma non è tutto.Dalle intercettazioni audiovideo sono emersi anche episodi incui gli oss gettavano parzialmente o totalmente nel wc o neilavandini la già scarsa quantità di cibo destinata agli ospiti.Nulla però è riportato sul diario informatico tenuto per ognipaziente circa la mancata fruizione del pasto. Le indagini hannoconsentito l'accertamento di "abituali vessazioni e umiliazioni,tra cui violenze fisiche, minacce e insulti nei confronti degliinermi ospiti".
