Dopo un'indagine più approfondita, sembra che questi pilastri di luce non siano misteriosi come inizialmente pensato. I pilastri di luce sono un fenomeno ottico atmosferico ben documentato causato dalla riflessione della luce da minuscoli cristalli di ghiaccio sospesi nell'atmosfera. Le fonti di luce possono essere naturali, come il sole o la luna, o artificiali, come i lampioni”.Il post di SutalworldGli esperti meteorologici confermano che le condizioni nella notte in questione erano favorevoli alla formazione di pilastri di luce. Tempo freddo, cielo sereno e vento calmo permettono ai cristalli di ghiaccio di formarsi nell'aria vicino al suolo, agendo da riflettori per la luce proveniente da varie fonti. Ancora il ricercatore italiano: “I residenti locali e gli ufficiali hanno notato che nella notte in cui sono state scattate le immagini, si sono svolti diversi eventi sportivi e decorazioni festive che coinvolgevano un'illuminazione artificiale significativa. Queste condizioni hanno probabilmente contribuito alla visibilità e intensità dei pilastri di luce osservati. I pilastri di luce osservati sopra il Giappone non erano il risultato di attività extraterrestre o di fenomeni soprannaturali.
