trentasettesima edizione, del riconoscimento Bandiera Blu 2023, assegnato dalla Foundation for Environmental Education (Fee). I luoghi scelti sono stati annunciati questa mattina alla presenza dei sindaci, nel corso della cerimonia di premiazione svoltasi a Roma presso la sede del Cnr. Oltre alle località di mare, ci sono anche 21 laghi che hanno ottenuto la 'bandiera blu', quattro in più dell'anno scorso.I NUOVI INGRESSI, DA GALLIPOLI A SIRMIONESono 16 i Comuni in più ad aver ottenuto il riconoscimento rispetto ai 210 dello scorso anno: 17 sono i nuovi ingressi, mentre un Comune (Cattolica) non è stato confermato. I nuovi ingressi sono i Comuni di Catanzaro (Calabria); Rocca Imperiale (Calabria); San Mauro Cilento (Campania); Gatteo (Emilia Romagna); Laigueglia (Liguria); Sori (Liguria); Sirmione (Lombardia); Toscano Maderno (Lombardia); Porto San Giorgio (Marche); Termoli (Molise); San Maurizio D’Opaglio (Piemonte); Verbania (Piemonte); Gallipoli (Puglia); Isole Tremiti (Puglia); Leporano (Puglia); Vieste (Puglia) e Orbetello (Toscana). A non essere riconfermata, la Bandiera Blu al Comune di Cattolica (Emilia-Romagna).LA CLASSIFICAIn testa alla classifica c'è la Liguria, che quest'anno segna 34 riconoscimenti (e ci sono le due new entry Laigueglia e Sori). Segue la Puglia con 22, che vede entrare quattro nuovi Comuni (Gallipoli, le isole Tremiti, Leporano e Vieste). Dopo, con 19 bandiere, vengono Campania (nuovo ingresso San Mauro Cilento), Toscana (entra la laguna di Orbetello) e Calabria (dove entrano Catanzaro e Rocca Imperiale).Ancora, le Marche salgono a 18 bandiere blu, col nuovo ingresso di Porto San Giorgio. La Sardegna mantiene 15 località, l’Abruzzo resta a 14, la Sicilia a 11 e il Lazio a 10. Rimangono invariate anche le dieci bandiere del Trentino-Alto Adige. L’Emilia-Romagna vede premiate 9 località, ne perde una (Cattolica) ma ne guadagna un'altra (Gatteo); sono riconfermate le nove Bandiere del Veneto. La Basilicata conferma le sue cinque località mentre si registrano due nuovi ingressi in Piemonte (San Maurizio d’Opaglio e Verbania) che ottiene cinque Bandiere; il Friuli Venezia Giulia conferma le due dell’anno precedente.
