Per la prima volta, infatti, il conto alla rovescia si è fermato qualche istante prima del decollo, dal cosmodromo russo di Baikonur, in Kazakhstan, della navetta Soyuz Ms-25 diretta alla Stazione Spaziale Internazionale con un equipaggio composto dal cosmonauta russo Oleg Novistky, dalla bielorussa Marina Vasilevskaya e dall'astronauta americana della Nasa, Tracy Dyson.
