Non è potuta andare ad Oslo a ritirare il premio Nobel per la Pace che è stato consegnato il 10 dicembre scorso a chi era potuto invece essere presente in sua vece, e cioè la sua famiglia. Il marito Taghi Rahmani, e i loro due figli. Premiando Narges Mohammadi si è data voce al dissenso che il regime di Teheran cerca di soffocare. L’attivista iraniana è stata designata quest’anno proprio per la sua lotta contro l’oppressione delle donne in Iran, per i diritti umani, per la libertà ◆ L’intervento di ALESSANDRO MARTELLI► Il 10 dicembre, ad Oslo, il Premio Nobel per la Pace è stato giustamente conferito a Narges Mohammadi, attivista iraniana detenuta nel carcere di massima sicurezza di Evin, a Teheran, dal 2021. È ivi detenuta perché si era opposta fortemente all’obbligo, per le donne iraniane, di indossare l’hijab, nonché alla pena di morte vigente nel suo Paese (che è stata sovente applicata, anche contro giovanissimi dissidenti). Narges Mohammadi è la 19ma donna a vincere il Premio Nobel per la Pace e la seconda iraniana, dopo l’attivista per i diritti umani Shirin Ebadi, che lo ricevette nel 2003. Nei 122 anni di storia del Premio, è la quinta volta che esso è assegnato a una persona in carcere (od agli arresti domiciliari).Durante la cerimonia di consegna del Premio, nel municipio di Oslo, la sedia sul palco a lei assegnata è rimasta simbolicamente vuota, ma con una sua foto posizionata dietro, che era stata da lei scelta e che la mostra sorridente e con abiti colorati. A ritirare il Premio ed a leggere un messaggio di ringraziamento, scritto dalla madre, sono stati i due figli gemelli, Kiana e Ali Rahmani, di 17 anni, che vivono in esilio a Parigi con il padre Taghi e non vedono la mamma da 7 anni. Nel suddetto messaggio, Narges Mohammadi, che proprio ieri ha iniziato uno sciopero della fame (per solidarietà verso la minoranza religiosa bahà’i), ha ribadito: «In Iran c’è un regime religioso tirannico e misogino» Nei giorni scorsi i due figli di Narges Mohammadi avevano partecipato ad conferenza stampa, a Oslo, durante la quale Kiana aveva letto un messaggio della madre che elogiava l’essenziale ruolo svolto dai media internazionali nel «trasmettere al mondo la voce dei dissidenti, dei manifestanti e dei difensori dei diritti umani». La ragazza aveva poi confessato di avere ben poche speranze di rivedere sua madre: «Forse la rivedrò tra 30 o 40 anni, ma credo che non la rivedrò più.
