"Entro la settimana prossima vareremoil piano esecutivo per poterlo avviare: è infatti fondamentalel'incremento degli organici perché le squadre a terra essenzialinon solo per combattere ma anche per il presidio del territorioe per la prevenzione e la pulizia del sottobosco. La biomassa ineccesso, infatti, è un ottimo carburante per il fuoco".L'assessora ricorda anche che una "grossa componete di questiroghi ha origine dolosa e colposa: serve un comportamentoresponsabile da parte dei cittadini: ognuno di noi è custode delterritorio".Ogni rogo, spiega Laconi, è un danno in più per l'Isola maanche per gli allevatori: "le aree percorse dall'incendio per 10anni sono vincolate per il pascolo, togliendo così ai pastori iterreni e risorse". Ma non solo: "più aumentano gli incendi piùaumenta la desertificazione, più aumenta il caldo, ilriscaldamento atmosferico e la siccità che fanno aumentare piùincendi,. E' un circolo vizioso".La flotta regionale antincendio conta nove elicotteri,(6leggeri da 900 litri, due Super Puma da 4mila litri,e un AB 412da 1200 litri).
