La paura in questo caso è una reazione normale di fronte a un pericolo reale. Con eventi sismici di tale portata è impossibile non spaventarsi, ma allo stesso tempo è importante che la reazione non sfoci nel panico per evitare di mettere in atto comportamenti controproducenti o inadeguati". Lo dice, in una nota, il presidente dell’Ordine degli Psicologi della Campania, Armando Cozzuto, in merito allo sciame sismico che ieri ha colpito la zona dei Campi Flegrei. "Vivendo a Pozzuoli ed essendo attualmente coinvolto in prima persona - aggiunge Cozzuto - posso testimoniare che sono tantissime le figure che sono intervenute e tra queste ci sono gli psicologi, nel caso specifico parliamo dell’associazione Psicologi per i popoli che è stata prontamente attivata dalla Protezione civile, così come verrà coinvolta l’associazione Sipem. Queste associazioni sono in genere le prime ad intervenire in tali contesti, disponendo di una serie di protocolli che consentono di contenere e ridefinire il vissuto traumatico per evitare l’insorgere di disturbi come ad esempio quello post-traumatico da stress"."Nel momento in cui le istituzioni sono state presenti sul territorio - sottolinea Cozzuto - la reazione dei cittadini è stata equilibrata. Non dimentichiamo che la paura rappresenta una reazione sana quando ci troviamo di fronte ad un pericolo reale, ma la presenza degli psicologi ha aiutato a mitigare i vissuti. Abbiamo assistito a scene critiche ma ben gestite, anche perché si sono creati degli spazi di confronto tra i cittadini che hanno coinvolto anche i tanti bambini presenti.
