(askanews) - Procedere alle nomine dei vertici Rai solo dopo la riforma della governance. A chiederlo è l'opposizione unita. L'appello è stato infatti firmato dai capigruppo in commissione di vigilanza rai di opposizione: Stefano Graziano (Pd), Dario Carotenuto (M5s), Maria Elena Boschi (Iv), Angelo Bonelli (Avs), Giuseppe De Cristofaro (Avs), Maria Stella Gelmini (Azione)."Nel prendere atto del rinvio a dopo la pausa estiva della votazione del Parlamento dei quattro membri del consiglio d'amministrazione della Rai, facciamo un appello alle forze di governo - si legge - a riflettere sul da farsi. Appare evidente l'impasse sull'assetto dei nuovi vertici di viale Mazzini. Come forze di opposizione invitiamo la maggioranza a lavorare sin da subito alla riforma della governance aziendale. La crisi del servizio pubblico radiotelevisivo necessita di una presa di responsabilità da parte delle forze politiche e delle istituzioni in considerazione del valore che l'azienda Rai ha per il Paese". "Con il via libera, avvenuto lo scorso marzo, da parte del Parlamento europeo al Media Freedom Act, l'attuale legge 220/2015, che governa la Rai - osservano gli esponenti di tutti i partiti di opposizione - appare superata e necessita di una riforma che vada nella direzione di recepire la legge europea per la libertà dei media. L'obiettivo del media Freedom act è quello di proteggere l'indipendenza dei media, dei giornalisti, e di vietare qualsiasi forma di ingerenza impropria da parte della politica o della economia nelle decisioni editoriali.Il recepimento del media Freedom act nel nostro Paese diventa,quindi, ancora più urgente proprio in relazione al futuro della Rai considerato che, quand'anche si procedesse alla nomina dei nuovi vertici con l'attuale criterio, entro il 2025, comunque bisognerebbe procedere ad una revisione imposta proprio dalla normativa approvata in sede comunitaria".Per queste ragioni, proseguono, "rivolgiamo un invito a tutte le forze politiche di procedere ad un confronto per una riforma organica della governance della Rai nella direzione del Media freedom act prima di procedere alla nomina dei nuovi vertici per evitare una ennesima lottizzazione e per consentire al servizio pubblico di rilanciarsi nella sua mission preservando le proprie prerogative di pluralismo, autonomia e indipendenza nell'interesse generale della libera informazione come garantito dalla nostra Costituzione. Si tratta di una sfida dalla quale nessuno può sottrarsi.
