Saranno decisi, quindi, dai "cittadini, in un processo che si svolgerà in tre fasi", ha aggiunto il leader M5S riferendosi a "iscritti e non iscritti, via web" che "inoltreranno i loro progetti, le possibili modifiche del regolamento. Poi approfondiranno le proposte - ha spiegato - 300 delegati rappresentativi della nostra comunità. Saranno estratti a sorte tra gli iscritti, così da massimizzare la diversità di posizioni, e affiancati da mediatori imparziali della società Avventura urbana. Ascolteremo anche giovani minorenni, a partire dai 14 anni. Infine sarà tutto messo ai voti in una assemblea di due giorni a cui parteciperanno gli iscritti e gli eletti del Movimento". Per Conte "adesso bisogna andare oltre la democrazia diretta: per coinvolgere i cittadini non basta più chiamarli a votare su un quesito predisposto dall'alto, serve farli partecipare anche nella fase della proposta e della discussione".Sull'eventuale cambiamento del nome "decideranno i cittadini - ha detto - che parteciperanno al nostro processo se questo è un tema da mettere sul tavolo". "Non dipende da me, ma dalla nostra comunità. Non ci sarà alcuna intermediazione politica da parte mia e dell'attuale vertice politico. Non sarò io - ha aggiunto - a indirizzare questa rifondazione decidendo di che cosa si deve o non si deve discutere. Si deve svolgere tutto senza indebiti condizionamenti dall'esterno. Quindi sì, se la questione sarà posta la voteremo".
