(askanews) - Questa è Dina al Shammari, 21 anni, gli occhiali da sole, i lunghi capelli neri, il volto sorridente, prima che il suo sogno di raggiungere la Gran Bretagna si infrangesse nel mare della Manica. La ragazza di famiglia Bidoon, una minoranza apolide in Kuwait, è morta schiacciata dal peso di altri migranti, come lei partiti su una imbarcazione di fortuna da Calais, nel nord della Francia."Dina amava la vita, voleva andare in Inghilterra per vivere in sicurezza, per lasciarsi alle spalle gli inseguimenti della polizia. Quando è arrivata alla barca, era così felice, davvero felice", racconta la madre. Il dramma di questa famiglia, due genitori e 4 figli dai 13 ai 21 anni, è iniziato il 28 luglio intorno alle 4 del mattino. Era il quinto tentativo di raggiungere via mare il Regno Unito."Siamo saliti sulla barca prima di tutti. C'erano 100 persone. Abbiamo cominciato a urlare, a chiedere aiuto, ma nessuno ci ha aiutato. Eravamo schiacciate, quasi 20 persone erano sopra di me e Dina", racconta la sorella, Nour."Nonostante tutto la barca è partita perché c'erano dei giovani che minacciavano con i coltelli se la barca non fosse andata avanti"."Abbiamo chiesto aiuto per un'ora, non abbiamo mai smesso di chiedere aiuto ma nessuno ha risposto alle nostre richieste. Abbiamo detto che dovevamo contattare il soccorso marittimo ma nessuno ha risposto, finché le persone non si sono rese conto dello stato del volto di mia sorella, era completamente bianca e il suo collo era completamente blu e in quel momento si sono resi conto e hanno chiamato i soccorsi marittimi". Oggi la famiglia di Dina è ospitata nei locali di una associazione umanitaria cattolica a Calais. Il sogno di una intera famiglia si è infranto, il futuro è buio e conta solo il presente: "In questo momento siamo concentrati solo su cosa vogliamo fare con il corpo di nostra sorella.
