colpiscano circa il 27% della popolazione femminile, anche se chi ne soffre spesso non lo sa. Rientrano nella grande famiglia delle anomalie mammarie malformazioni molto diverse, che vanno dalla totale assenza di ghiandola e muscolo pettorale alla presenza di più mammelle e capezzoli per lato. L'anomalia mammaria più frequente è il cosiddetto "seno tuberoso", caratterizzato da una forma stretta allungata e cadente giù in giovane età. La correzione delle anomalie mammarie è un intervento di chirurgia plastica ricostruttiva ma comporta anche il ricorso alle tecniche di chirurgia estetica: la versatilità degli approcci e il trattamento totalmente personalizzato permettono di ottenere un risultato finale gradevole e naturale da qualsiasi punto di partenza. Sono alcuni dei temi trattati con Francesco Klinger dell'Università degli Studi di Milano, intervistato da Marco Klinger, per Medicina Top, format tv dell'agenzia di stampa Italpress. "Le malformazioni sono di due tipi, malformazioni congenite cioè dovute a difetti genetici o malformazioni dovute a un'anomalia dello sviluppo della mammella, che sono le più frequenti".Come si affronta la correzione dell'anomalia mammaria? "L'approccio deve essere di tipo sistematico, bisogna capire qual è il motivo dell'anomalia mammaria e quindi le strutture anatomiche che sono coinvolte, è giusto procedere ad un planning chirurgico terapeutico "cucito" ad hoc su una paziente: per ogni paziente esistono manovre chirurgiche che possono risolvere o migliorare nettamente la condizione patologica. Il grasso non è fondamentale", ma "è una manovra tecnica relativamente semplice perché viene aspirato da zone in cui ne abbiamo di più e viene iniettato là dove ci serve, ma non ha semplicemente il compito di riportare volume laddove manca, ma ha anche la peculiarità - grazie alle capacità delle cellule staminali mature che esso contiene - di migliorare la qualità dei tessuti, agendo attraverso un miglioramento della vascolarizzazione". Parliamo di "anomalie che non compromettono lo stato di salute generale di una paziente, però è ovvio che un'anomalia della mammella può in qualche modo compromettere la sfera psicologica, la sfera sessuale, la femminilità in senso lato di una paziente, quindi è bene cercare di risolverle il prima possibile.
