In uno dei due capannoni sono poi statimontati i macchinari industriali per la lavorazione del tabaccoe la produzione di sigarette contraffatte, attività "nellaquale gli indagati (non tutti) sono stati coinvoltisuccessivamente, man mano che finivano la parte edile". Hannoinoltre riferito che era stato loro "severamente vietato dispostarsi liberamente nell'area", tant'è "che era statopredisposto un circuito di videosorveglianza" e "il cancello diuscita era comunque chiuso e loro non avevano le chiavi". Laspesa veniva portata da un ragazzo che viveva nei pressi deifabbricati, mentre per le emergenze, ma non per chiamare iparenti, l'organizzazione aveva messo a disposizione per tuttiun solo telefono.
