I fatti riguardano il Centro di permanenza per i rimpatri di Palazzo San Gervasio e l'inchiesta, coordinata dalla procura potentina, ha avuto una svolta con l'esecuzione di una ordinanza di custodia cautelare e di applicazione di misure interdittive. Il provvedimento è stato emesso anche nei confronti di Rosario Olivieri, ispettore di polizia, finito agli arresti domiciliari per i reati di violenza privata pluriaggravata, falso ideologico, calunnia e truffa aggravata ai danni dello Stato. Sarebbero oltre trenta i migranti ospitati nel Cpr e risultati vittime, secondo le indagini, di maltrattamenti. In particolare, è emersa la somministrazione di un farmaco, il Rivotril, senza che ce ne fosse bisogno.Tra gli indagati anche la rappresentante legale della Engel Italia srl, Paola Cianciulli, e il direttore responsabile della società, Alessandro Forlenza, indagato anche dalla procura di Milano nell'ambito di un'inchiesta relativa al Cpr di via Corelli. Entrambi sono stati raggiunti dal divieto temporaneo - per la durata di dodici mesi - di esercitare imprese o uffici direttivi di persone giuridiche e imprese operanti in rapporti diretti o indiretti con la Pubblica amministrazione per i reati di inadempimento e frode nelle pubbliche forniture. Forlenza risulta indagato anche per maltrattamenti nei confronti degli ospiti del centro.Inoltre, è stata eseguita, nei confronti di un medico di base, Donato Nozza, la misura interdittiva del divieto temporaneo di esercitare la professione di medico (per la durata di mesi dodici) nei centri di permanenza per il rimpatrio per i reati di maltrattamenti, falso ideologico e violenza privata pluriaggravata.In occasione dell'esecuzione dell'ordinanza sono state eseguite anche perquisizioni nei confronti di altri indagati, tra i quali avvocati ed appartenenti alla polizia.
