diAncona, una delle opere architettoniche di epoca romana dellacittà, Giuseppe Pambieri, tra i più completi e longeviinterpreti teatrali e televisivi, e gli altri attori impegnatinell' "Edipo a Colono" di Sofocle, ultima opera del grandeautore tragico.Un paradigma della condizione umana in eterno conflitto e diargomenti senza tempo quali i legami di sangue, l'amore filiale,l'onore, il rispetto, il perdono, l'osservanza delle leggi,l'accoglienza dello straniero, l'ineluttabilità del destino emolto altro.Un successo oltre ogni previsione, per il secondo spettacolodopo l'Anfitrione di Plauto il 22 luglio scorso, della rassegnadel circuito TAU- Teatri Antichi Uniti- che per la prima voltadopo molti anni è potuta tornare nel centro storico delcapoluogo, in uno spazio recuperato e allestito all'internodell'area archeologica grazie all'impegno congiuntodell'Amministrazione comunale e della SoprintendenzaArcheologia, Bella Arti e Paesaggio. "Uno spettacolo di qualità, come il pubblico ha riconosciutounanimemente - sottolinea l'assessore alla Cultura, Anna MariaBertini- in perfetto equilibrio tra l'autenticità del testooriginario e l'attualizzazione dello stesso, attraverso unainterpretazione moderna e aderente alla sensibilitàcontemporanea".La stagione dell'Anfiteatro era stata avviata nel mese digiugno con i due spettacoli della rassegna "Ankoneide" ideatadalla direzione artistica del Festival Popsophia: ebbene unadelle due performance, quella dedicata a Raffaella Carrà, èstata intercettata e richiesta dal Comune di Napoli che lareplicherà nella prestigiosa sede del Maschio Angioino a finemese. "Una riconoscimento per noi- osserva l'assessore- chepremia scelte inedite e evidentemente premiate dal consenso delpubblico".L'arena, collocata nell'area archeologica, ospiterà altrieventi nel mese di agosto: in accordo con il Festival AdriaticoMediterraneo, il 26 agosto ospiterà il concerto di aperturadegli Almamegretta che festeggiano 30 anni di carriera; il 28agosto l'ensamble Yaraka, con tre musicisti tarentini e aseguire il Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, il più importantegruppo di musica salentina (Puglia Sounds 2024). E ancora unmegaconcerto mediterraneo il 29 agosto con gli Area Sud,collettivo musicale di provenienza siciliana e quindi l'ospitepiù atteso, Eugenio Bennato, con "Musica del Mondo" e il suoquartetto d'eccezione, un evento che si preannuncia con un tuttoesaurito.Il Festival Adriatico Mediterraneo, oltre ad utilizzare lospazio dell'Anfiteatro romano, sarà presente al MuseoArcheologico Nazionale, a Spazio Presente, piazza del Plebiscito(laboratorio), Terrazza Unicorn ecc e inoltre alla MoleVanvitelliana, cornice di altri appuntamenti quali Hunt! - oggi,9 agosto (Corte); Sensi d'Estate- 14 agosto (Corte); Amici dellaLirica - 21 agosto (Corte) e Il Mascherone, 22-25 agosto (SalaBoxe e Aula didattica).Nel mese di agosto si segnalano anche gli appuntamenti delprestigioso Festival della Storia, che sarà ospitato ancora unavolta dalla Mole Vanvitelliana - alternativamentenell'Auditorium e nella Sala Boxe- nelle giornate del 29 , 30 e31 agosto, per concludersi il 1° settembre.
