dell'Istruzione e del Merito, Giuseppe Valditara. Il massimo responsabile dell'istruzione ha annunciato un piano per l'Abruzzo grazie alla previsione di fondi straordinari per le scuole regionali e l'assunzione di 60 nuovi docenti per venire incontro alle esigenze delle comunità. L'annuncio "dell'impegno del governo per l'Abruzzo" il Ministro Valditara lo ha dato alla presenza dell'assessore regionale all'Istruzione, Pietro Quaresimale, che ha chiesto e ottenuto l'impegno del Ministro per l'Abruzzo. "Sul fronte della scuola - ha aggiunto Quaresimale - lavoriamo giorno per giorno per dare un servizio adeguato ai cittadini e garantire l'attuazione al meglio di un diritto costituzionalmente tutelato". La giornata abruzzese del Ministro Valditara si è aperta alle 10 con la visita al comune di Silvi e alla scuola Giovanni Pascoli del centro costiero. Ad accogliere l'esponente di governo il sindaco, Andrea Scordella. Rimanendo lungo la costa adriatica teramana, Valditara e Quaresimale si sono poi spostati a Pineto per la visita all'istituto comprensivo Giovanni XXIII. Da Pineto a Giulianova dove il sindaco giuliese, Jwan Costantini, ha accolto il Ministro Valditara e l'Assessore Quaresimale per la visita all'istituto d'istruzione superiore "Crocetti Cerulli", sede dell'Its Turismo Cultura.E proprio la visita all'istituto scolastico di Giulianova ha rappresentato il momento più importate della visita istituzionale perché l'assessore Quaresimale ha avuto modo di illustrare al ministro il valore e l'importanza della strategia di sviluppo e rafforzamento dell'Alta Formazione con la creazione degli ITS. Proprio quello di Giulianova è l'ultimo nato in ordine di tempo, "e tocca uno dei punti nodali dell'economia regionale: il turismo. Il settore, da solo - ha ribadito l'assessore regionale - copre il 70-80% del Pil regionale; da qui l'idea di creare alta formazione su questo settore in modo da qualificare in meglio i servizi turistici del nostro territorio. Gli ITS, come certificano i dati nazionali e regionali, rappresentano dei veri e propri laboratori in grado di generare occupazione qualificata, la stessa che cerca un mercato del lavoro sempre più esigente e attento ai cambiamenti economici e sociali".
