L'iniziativa, promossa dal G7 e coordinatadalla presidenza italiana attraverso il lavoro del dipartimentoper la trasformazione digitale, "è un passo fondamentale pergarantire lo sviluppo e l'uso sicuro, etico e trasparentedell'Ia a livello globale", fa sapere il dipartimento in unanota.L'attività segue l'impegno preso dai leader del G7 il 15marzo a Trento, nella ministeriale guidata dal sottosegretariodi Stato con delega all'innovazione tecnologica, Alessio Butti. Il codice di condotta internazionale per le organizzazioni chesviluppano sistemi di Ia avanzati, approvato nel 2023 nelcontesto del processo di Hiroshima, mira a garantire che l'Iasia progettata, sviluppata e utilizzata rispettando i valoridemocratici dei Paesi del G7. La presidenza italiana del G7 hainserito il sistema di monitoraggio per il codice di condottatra le priorità del suo programma, per promuovere la governanceresponsabile e sicura dell'Ia a livello globale. Il sistema dimonitoraggio, sviluppato in collaborazione con l'Ocse e sotto ilcoordinamento della presidenza italiana, è stato creato grazieal contributo dei principali sviluppatori di Ia dei Paesi delG7. Le organizzazioni che sviluppano sistemi di Ia avanzata sonoinvitate a partecipare alla fase pilota, che durerà fino al 6settembre 2024. I feedback raccolti miglioreranno ulteriormenteil sistema di monitoraggio prima del rilascio della sua versionefinale entro la fine dell'anno.
