Questo è il sogno condiviso con un territorio rispettoso dell'ambiente, ricco di bellezze paesaggistiche e naturalistiche. La Treviso Ostiglia percorre l'ex linea ferroviaria degli anni Trenta utilizzata per ragioni militari e commerciali, da Grisignano di Zocco a Casaleone, attraversando le province di Vicenza e Verona. I tre lotti che abbiamo inaugurato, allungano di ulteriori 29 chilometri il percorso di una delle maggiori arterie del cicloturismo in Veneto, interconnettendo altre piste tra aree naturalistiche e di pregio culturale. Ad oggi sono stati realizzati circa 89 dei 118 km totali previsti nel tratto compreso tra la città di Treviso, Montegalda in provincia di Vicenza e Cologna Veneta, in provincia di Verona: un tracciato che ha tutte le caratteristiche per essere considerato come una delle ciclovie più belle d'Italia". Lo ha detto il presidente della Regione del Veneto, Luca Zaia, in occasione dell'inaugurazione del 1°, 2°, 3° lotto e parte del 7° della Pista Ciclopedonale Treviso-Ostiglia nel tratto che attraversa i comuni di Montegaldella, Castegnero, Nanto, Barbarano Mossano, Villaga, Sossano, Orgiano (VI) e Cologna Veneta (VR)."Una ciclabile che completa gli oltre duemila chilometri di percorsi che abbiamo realizzato in questi anni e contribuisce a rafforzare l'intera offerta turistica veneta green e slow - prosegue il Governatore -. Il percorso è interamente dotato di segnaletica, e recupera anche i vecchi caselli come punti di ristoro e officine che agevolano i cicloturisti nella scoperta 'dolce' del territorio, attrezzato anche con fontane d'acqua, bicigrill, servizio meccanico, noleggio bici e numerose possibilità di alloggio"."Sembrava un sogno irrealizzabile, invece oggi siamo qui ad inaugurare un ulteriore tassello della Treviso-Ostiglia. Altri 29 chilometri con cui raggiungiamo circa il 75% del completamento dell'opera per quanto riguarda il tratto veneto - riferisce la vicepresidente e assessore alle Infrastrutture del Veneto, Elisa De Berti -. Un asse strategico per la mobilità in bicicletta, ben collegata con altre ciclabili come la GiraSile, la Riviera Berica, l'Anello dei Colli Euganei e la ciclovia del Brenta, oltre che con i grandi itinerari Dolomiti-Venezia, Lago di Garda-Venezia e AIDA. Il prossimo tratto mancante è quello che va da Cologna Veneta a Casaleone, che Veneto Strade conta di concludere nel 2025.
