Abbiamo sentito il nostro collega, il Colonnello Walter Villadei che sta bene, lui così come i suoi colleghi ed è pronto per per il lancio di domani".Il rinvio del lancio si è reso necessario, ha spiegato Axiom Space in una nota, per consentire alle squadre di supporto di "completare verifiche pre-lancio e l'analisi dei dati, incluso il modulatore di energia del sistema di paracadute" che serve a rallentare la navetta durante l'ultima fase del rientro sulla Terra.Il Colonnello Villadei, 50 anni ad aprile, è il pilota della navetta Crew Dragon "Freedom" di Space X; a lui la Difesa italiana ha affidato la missione "Voluntas", prima missione spaziale commerciale per il nostro Paese.
