A fare i calcoli è Federconsumatori che ha riscontrato da qualche anno a questa parte un deciso aumento delle prenotazioni per una vacanza in tenda e sacco a pelo, con un vero e proprio boom dopo la pandemia. Quest'anno, per intenderci, la crescita è stata di oltre il 22%. Rispetto ai costi di hotel e appartamenti si risparmia ancora ma, secondo le stime dell'osservatorio nazionale dell'associazione, a fronte di un rincaro medio del 17% del costo per soggiornare in hotel nel periodo estivo, quello per alloggiare in camping è in aumento di un altrettanto significativo 11%. Cresce soprattutto il costo delle piazzole: quella per roulotte/tenda o camper segna +24%, quella per la tenda piccola +21%, quella per la tenda grande +19%. In controtendenza invece il costo per l'ingresso degli animali da compagnia, che scende del 10%."Alla luce di questi aumenti emerge che, complessivamente, una famiglia composta da 2 adulti e 2 bambini, per trascorrere una settimana in campeggio in una località balneare, tra piazzola, ingressi, pasti e servizi balneari, spende in alta stagione 1.526 euro, il 10% in più rispetto al 2023", calcola l'associazione. Chi, invece, non vuole rinunciare alla comodità e preferisce soggiornare in bungalow spenderà 2.345 euro, l'8,1% in più rispetto al 2023 e il 66% in più rispetto alla soluzione in tenda. Federconsumatori ha quindi analizzato anche l'opzione 'glamping', una sorta di campeggio di lusso che permette di coniugare originalità e comodità.
