attacco israeliano su una scuola a Gaza City è salito a 90-100 morti. "Il bilancio delle vittime è ora tra 90 e 100 e ci sono decine di feriti in più. Tre razzi israeliani hanno colpito la scuola che ospitava palestinesi sfollati", ha detto il portavoce dell'agenzia Mahmud Bassal all'emittente "al-Jazeera". L'ufficio stampa del governo di Gaza afferma che ci sono "più di 100 martiri" nell'attacco. Le IDF annunciano di aver colpito un posto di comando di Hamas che gli agenti terroristici avevano allestito presso la scuola di Gaza City dove si erano rifugiati civili palestinesi, mentre l'agenzia di difesa civile gestita da Hamas dell'enclave afferma che 40 persone sono state uccise nell'attacco aereo. Secondo una dichiarazione dell'IDF, gli agenti di Hamas si nascondevano nella scuola Al-Tabàeen nel quartiere Daraj di Gaza City, da dove stavano "avanzando operazioni terroristiche contro le forze dell'IDF e i cittadini israeliani".La dichiarazione afferma che l'IDF "ha preso molte misure per ridurre la possibilità di danneggiare i civili" prima di lanciare l'attacco usando munizioni di precisione.
