diAncona, una delle opere architettoniche di epoca romana dellacittà, Giuseppe Pambieri, tra i più completi e longeviinterpreti teatrali e televisivi, e gli altri attori impegnatinell' "Edipo a Colono" di Sofocle, ultima opera del grandeautore tragico.Un paradigma della condizione umana in eterno conflitto e diargomenti senza tempo quali i legami di sangue, l'amore filiale,l'onore, il rispetto, il perdono, l'osservanza delle leggi,l'accoglienza dello straniero, l'ineluttabilità del destino emolto altro.Un successo oltre ogni previsione, per il secondo spettacolodopo l'Anfitrione di Plauto il 22 luglio scorso, della rassegnadel circuito TAU- Teatri Antichi Uniti- che per la prima voltadopo molti anni è potuta tornare nel centro storico delcapoluogo, in uno spazio recuperato e allestito all'internodell'area archeologica grazie all'impegno congiuntodell'Amministrazione comunale e della SoprintendenzaArcheologia, Bella Arti e Paesaggio. "Una riconoscimento per noi- osserva l'assessore- chepremia scelte inedite e evidentemente premiate dal consenso delpubblico".L'arena, collocata nell'area archeologica, ospiterà altrieventi nel mese di agosto: in accordo con il Festival AdriaticoMediterraneo, il 26 agosto ospiterà il concerto di aperturadegli Almamegretta che festeggiano 30 anni di carriera; il 28agosto l'ensamble Yaraka, con tre musicisti tarentini e aseguire il Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino, il più importantegruppo di musica salentina (Puglia Sounds 2024).
