(askanews) - L'obiettivo del governo per i prossimi tre anni è "portare avanti, punto per punto, il programma elettorale con cui ci siamo presentati alle elezioni e sul quale gli italiani ci hanno accordato la loro fiducia". Lo dice la presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, in un'intervista a 'Tempi' di cui il Foglio pubblica alcune anticipazioni."Siamo determinati ad andare avanti, e portare a termine tutte quelle riforme e quei provvedimenti che reputiamo utili per la nostra nazione", aggiunge.In particolare, per quanto riguarda il premierato, Meloni spiega: "Sono da sempre convinta che l'instabilità politica abbia indebolito l'Italia nei rapporti internazionali e dal punto di vista economico, perché governi che hanno una durata troppo breve non possono sviluppare una visione di lungo periodo. E ciò che puoi fare è solo navigare a vista, cercare il consenso immediato invece di immaginare politiche strutturali o mettere mano alla politica industriale"."L'instabilità dei governi - sottolinea - ha inciso sulle nostre carenze infrastrutturali, sulla nostra capacità di difendere i nostri interessi nazionali e sullo stato di salute della nostra economia. Un dato su tutti: negli ultimi vent'anni, Francia e Germania sono cresciute di più del 20 per cento mentre l'Italia è cresciuta meno del 4 per cento. E questo ci deve far riflettere, perché delle due l'una: o tutti i politici italiani sono peggiori dei politici francesi e tedeschi - e francamente io non lo penso - oppure c'è qualcosa che non funziona nel sistema e che noi dobbiamo avere il coraggio di correggere. Una democrazia instabile è una democrazia nella quale la politica è più debole rispetto alle concentrazioni economiche, alle burocrazie e agli interessi particolari. È una democrazia che non è in grado di portare avanti quelle politiche pubbliche fondamentali per rendere effettivi le libertà, i diritti, la solidarietà, la crescita economica e l'equità sociale. Per questo, una riforma che assicuri governi eletti dal popolo, stabili, con un orizzonte di legislatura, è la più potente misura - economica e di giustizia sociale - che noi possiamo regalare all'Italia.
