(askanews) - Continua ad aumentare consistentemente il valore complessivo degli attivi delle banche con sede nell'Unione europea, mentre si ridimensionano i livelli di redditività e i crediti deteriorati segnano un marginale aumento, ma i coefficienti di solidità patrimoniale risultano stabili a livelli consistenti. E' la fotografia scattata dall'ultimo resoconto pubblicato dalla Banca centrale europea, relativo al primo trimestre. A fine marzo di quest'anno il valore aggregato di tutti gli attivi delle banche nell'Ue ha raggiunto quota 32.620 miliardi di euro, a fronte di 31.920 miliardi registrati a dicembre e il 4,09% in più dei 31.340 miliardi dello stesso periodo di un anno prima.Sempre a fine marzo, secondo la Bce il tasso di crediti deteriorati (Non performing loans) per l'insieme delle banche nella Unione europea è aumentato di 0,10 punti percentuali all'1,93%.Si è nel frattempo drasticamente ridimensionata una misura della redditività, il valore aggregato del ritorno sul capitale delle banche nell'Ue si è attestato al 2,49% a fine marzo, a fronte del 9,29% registrato alla fine del dicembre 2023.
