complessivaprevista tra 6,7 e 7 miliardi di euro, per quella che, nel 58%dei casi, è la vacanza principale. Numeri sostanzialmentestabili, rispetto allo stesso periodo del 2023. È la fotografiascattata dall'Osservatorio Turismo di Confcommercio incollaborazione con Swg sulle vacanze degli italiani per il 15agosto.L'82% farà le vacanze in Italia, di questi il 5% dichiara dirimanere in località vicino a casa. Il 18% degli italiani andràall'estero, in lieve calo rispetto allo stesso periodo dell'annoscorso, quando era il 22%. Per le mete, quest'anno trionfano l'Emilia Romagna e il Sud,con Calabria, Sicilia, Campania e Puglia nella top five. Liguriae Toscana sfiorano il vertice della classifica. Per l'esterocontinua il predominio delle mete greche, spagnole e della costamediterranea francese. Mare super gettonato - scelto da unvacanziere su due - ma anche la montagna è molto apprezzata,scelta dal 18% del campione intervistato. Decisamente menoattrattive per questa settimana le città d'arte, che nonraggiungono quota 10%.Nonostante il 31% programmi di soggiornare in seconde case oospite di amici e parenti, non viene meno, anche in questasettimana clou, l'interesse per le strutture alberghiere cheospiteranno il 23% degli italiani in vacanza.La metà degli intervistati trascorrerà questi giorniall'insegna del più assoluto relax; un 34% - principalmentecomposto da giovani tra i 18-34 anni - invece punterà aldivertimento. Quasi 4 su 10 dichiarano di scegliere questoperiodo perché è l'unico in cui hanno ferie disponibili e aquesti si associa un ulteriore 17% che confessa che solo aFerragosto può fruire dell'ospitalità di familiari e amici.
