smentita sin qui dai fatti e ha reso la presidente del Consiglio italiano la novità della stagione. Ursula von Der Leyen, per solidarietà femminile e calcolo elettorale, ha instaurato con lei un asse privilegiato. Ma la giravolta sul Mes, la trattativa “a pacchetto” e il peso della psicologia in politica hanno procurato danni a Meloni e al nostro Paese. Colpa della sua “ansia da prestazione” e dalla concorrenza di Salvini. Si acuisce, intanto, la sua allergia per le domande dei giornalisti. La conferenza stampa di fine anno convocata per oggi è saltata un’altra volta per l’influenza della premier: un bis in otto giorni dopo il forfait, per lo stesso motivo, del 20 dicembre. Per il sito “Dagospia” (non smentito) quel giorno Giorgia Meloni aveva comunque partecipato in mattinata alla recita di Natale della figlia Il pensierino di GIANLUCA VERONESI► Meloni era partita bene proprio sul terreno a lei più sfavorevole. La quale ha anche un altro vantaggio sul palcoscenico internazionale: la sua chioma bionda, ben sventolata, identifica immediatamente l’unica donna del prestigiosissimo G7, il forum di consultazione dei primi sette paesi del mondo (occidentale). Di cui, dal primo gennaio avrà la presidenza di turno.Siccome un po’ ovunque le destre avanzano (ma non travolgono), Ursula von der Leyen, che ambirebbe ad una rielezione, ha impostato con il nostro capo del governo (all’insegna della solidarietà femminile) un asse privilegiato. Che dovrebbe permettere al Partito popolare europeo di sostituire i socialdemocratici, laddove fossero in difficoltà, con i moderati della Meloni. Perché la faccio lunga su questioni note a tutti? Perché voglio fotografare i danni che ella si è procurata (e che ci ha procurato) con la decisione di bocciare l’adesione italiana al Mes, unici a fronte di 26 paesi favorevoli, anche perché consapevoli delle profonde modifiche apportate a questo importante strumento finanziario, in particolare nel suo nuovo ruolo di salva banche. Ha aderito anche la Grecia, “vittima” della più robusta applicazione. Hanno aderito anche Orban e la Polonia che certamente in tema di sovranismo non sono secondi a nessuno. Proprio noi che da sempre siamo sostenitori del superamento dell’obbligo del voto unanime che si presta ai ricatti e alle ritorsioni che infatti abbiamo tentato e che forse sono all’origine della nostra decisione. La famosa trattativa “a pacchetto” che comprendeva anche il Patto di stabilità e la nuova regolamentazione del fenomeno dell’immigrazione.Molti in Europa si chiedono cosa è successo e pochi sanno darsi una risposta. Io credo che per capire bisogna ricordarsi che in politica conta molto la psicologia. La premier sembra sempre in “ansia da prestazione”, vuole che l’Italia “risulti” sempre vincente, forse per dimostrare ai suoi sostenitori tiepidi con l’Europa che si partecipa solo fino a quando si guadagna. Una battuta sulla fotografia di Draghi sul famoso treno per l’Ucraina mi ha fatto capire quanto Meloni abbia sofferto per non essere stata cooptata da Francia e Germania nel direttorio delle ultime decisioni. La presidente del Consiglio ha anche indebolito il suo ministro del Tesoro, vero tramite tra il governo e l’Unione.Mancano pochi mesi alle elezioni europee e Salvini provvederà da qui ad allora ad evidenziare la debolezza, l’arrendevolezza, la troppa diplomazia usata da Giorgia con la matrigna Bruxelles (ormai tutti lo definiscono “lo scavalcamento a destra”). Se la presidente deciderà, per motivi elettorali, di inseguirlo su questa strada di contrapposizione con le istituzioni europee, diventerà per la “Vecchia Europa” troppo imbarazzante per essere alleata. Una Vecchia Europa in forma smagliante, che sforna riforme a tutto spiano e che ha il coraggio di governare persino il calcio.
