E' la precisazione diffusa dall'Oms per chiarire un dato rilasciato ieri sempre da esponenti dell'agenzia Onu per la salute. Dichiarazioni dalle quali era emerso che almeno 40 atleti impegnati nei Giochi erano risultati positivi al Covid. Secondo il chiarimento diffuso oggi, dunque, non sono imputabili solo al virus Sars-CoV-2 le positività censite a cui si è fatto riferimento. "Stiamo chiarendo le dichiarazioni" e "ci scusiamo per la confusione", si legge in una nota. "L'Oms ha lavorato a stretto contatto con il Comitato olimpico internazionale e il Governo della Francia per proteggere la salute e il benessere dei 10.714 atleti, nonché degli spettatori, durante i Giochi.
