(l’assassinio di Giulia, 22 anni) ha promosso un progetto per gli studenti di “Educazione alle relazioni”. In un primo momento, a garanzia del progetto il ministro aveva nominato tre figure femminili come garanti: una suora, un’avvocata, e l’ex deputata del Pd Paola Concia, nota come attivista della comunità Lgtbq. È su quest’ultimo nome che si sono scatenate delle polemiche soprattutto (ma non solo) all’interno della destra di governo, e in particolare dalla Lega (il partito dello stesso ministro). Polemiche peraltro anche in dissenso fra loro, affiancate (o trascinate) dalla dichiarata indignazione di movimenti per la famiglia tradizionale (Concia è anche omosessuale, e ha sposato la sua compagna). Valditara così, nello spazio di un paio di giorni, ha scelto di fare un passo indietro: il progetto si farà, ma senza garanti (nessuna delle tre nominate). «La scuola ha bisogno di serenità, non di polemiche», ha spiegato. Esponendosi però a suggerire una sensazione di autolesionismo per essersi censurato da solo ◆ Il corsivo di MAURIZIO MENICUCCI► Per una volta, da quando è lì al governo, che parla e straparla, con esiti pratici sul sistema scolastico italiano capaci di far impalllidire qualsiasi montagna messa incinta da un toporagno, il ministro all’Istruzione e al Merito, Giuseppe Valditara, tiene fede alla propria delega e, invece di girare intorno alla novella questione che lo vede protagonista, la affronta di petto e con ammirevole lucidità. Accigliato come un novello Catone, cancella il nome dell’onorevole Paola Concia, attivista del mondo Lgtb+, molto stimata anche a destra, anzi cancella tutta la rosa (tre donne) di coordinamento del progetto per le scuole ‘Educare alle relazioni’.Concia è un nome che lui stesso aveva pronunciato urbi et orbi, ovviamente poche ore prima che la Lega, cioè il suo stesso partito, e gli ululanti torquemada del movimento Pro vita, glielo facessero ingoiare senza pietà. Non contento della figuraccia, o forse sotto dettatura disciplinare dello stesso Salvini, Valditara prova a giustificare il (proprio) ripensamento, aggiungendo che la scuola italiana ha bisogno di serenità e non di personalità divisive. Ebbene, diciamo subito che se ora, a sinistra, la tentazione è quella di di maramaldeggiare sulle disgrazie del buon Giuseppe, farlo sarebbe iniquo, e anche poco saggio. La verità è che è difficile trovare un esempio così onesto e perfino commovente di autocensura tra i politici. Ma proprio per aiutarlo a raggiungere la perfezione autolesionista alla quale, in tutta evidenza, lui aspira, ci sentiamo di consigliargli un ulteriore, piccolo passo. Se volesse dimostrarsi fino in fondo coerente con la citata necessità di pacificare la scuola e alla luce, appunto, del molto da lui detto e del nulla fatto — a parte scatenare valanghe di polemiche, compreso il plateale schiaffone appioppatogli dal presidente del Senato, Ignazio La Russa, che ha espresso vicinanza e solidarietà alla Concia —, Valditara dovrebbe dimettersi, senza por tempo in mezzo.
