In un'aula magna gremita di partecipanti, con centinaia di spettatori che seguono l'evento in streaming, il rapper ha spiegato che sarebbe stato il protagonista di una "chiacchierata tra amici, tra coetanei, ognuno con le proprie paure. Io non posso dare un metodo per affrontarle. Io ho mille ansie e mille paure"."SBAGLIATI TUTTI I PREGIUDIZI SU NAPOLI""Tutti i pregiudizi su Napoli sono sbagliati". Geolier ha spiegato che una delle cose che più di altre gli fa "rabbia" è "vedere i rapper indossare un orologio a Milano, e non farlo a Napoli. Eppure le classifiche sui reati dicono che Napoli è molto più in basso rispetto ad altre città. Perché a Milano, che è la città con più reati, metti l'orologio e a Napoli no? Oppure, quando dicono: Ma il casco a Napoli esiste? Sono pregiudizi stupidi". Infine, l'osservazione del rapper è che oggi "la scena napoletana è molto solida. Noi cerchiamo di portare un po' di lavoro a Napoli".GEOLIER ALLA FEDERICO II: "ARTE NON HA RESPONSABILITÀ EDUCATIVA""Il tempo ti matura, io adesso nei pezzi parlo diversamente rispetto al 2018 o al 2019. Quando voglio stare tranquillo vado lì, le persone non mi fermano per non disturbarmi. A Napoli tutti mi chiamano Emanuele, non mi fanno sentire diverso. E io voglio sentirmi normale". È una delle domande a cui ha risposto il rapper Geolier salito "in cattedra" nella sede di Scampia dell'Università Federico II per incontrare gli studenti. L'artista ha parlato molto del suo passato. "I miei 12 anni? Vorrei ritornare tanto a quei momenti lì, ma non vorrei dire nulla a quel bambino, perché è lui che ha creato quello che sono oggi. Forse gli direi di godere di più di quei momenti. Il vero divertimento è quello, e a volte si perde tra scadenze, case discografiche, major". E, poi, la sua famiglia: "Se cambierei qualcosa di me? Quando sono in studio e mi chiama mia mamma, io non rispondo e stacco, lei fa due o tre chiamate. Poi le dico scusa, spiego: "mamma, stavo scrivendo una canzone" e lei, con semplicità, dice "Embè? La canzone è più importante di me? Il lavoro è più importante di me?" Ha ragione. Quello che faccio è per loro, i miei genitori, se loro sono orgogliosi di quello che faccio mi posso anche fermare. Papà, quando parla, ogni cosa che dice è un insegnamento. È l'unico che mi mette in soggezione, è quello che vorrei essere da grande".C'è qualcosa che però Geolier, al secolo Emanuele Palumbo, cambierebbe del suo passato: "Vorrei aver studiato di più. Nelle mie prime interviste avevo paura, perché ero, sono, un ragazzo rionale, ma all'inizio lo ero davvero. Era strano dire anche solo una parola in italiano. Vorrei aver seguito più la scuola per comunicare meglio, spiegare i miei pensieri in modo più fluido". Perché Geolier gli studi li ha abbandonati molto presto e già quando frequentava la scuola elementare, nel pomeriggio, lavorava nell'attività di famiglia, che si occupa di vendita di lampadari. "Mi piaceva essere autonomo. Andare a chiedere soldi a mia madre mi dava fastidio, anche a dieci anni". Nel suo futuro prossimo c'è un disco "lo sto finendo… ma non posso dire altro…" e tre date sold out allo stadio Maradona. "È una cosa troppo grande per me. Ho solo paura di non rispettare le mie aspettative. Tre stadi pieni sono adesso, devo assicurarmi la mia fanbase per sempre: ora è il mio momento, ma poi resterà solo chi mi è veramente accanto". Infine, parlando con una studentessa, Geolier ha spiegato: "Noi veniamo dalle periferie, abbiamo fame.
