(askanews) - Spesso le cause dei vari dolori cronici o dei problemi posturali sono associate a un conflitto tra gruppi muscolari che prevalgono su altri, mettendo in crisi il sistema. Un fenomeno sociale considerato che a soffrirne, secondo i dati dell'Istituto superiore di sanità, sono, in Italia, oltre dieci milioni di persone di cui circa quattro milioni di uomini e quasi sei milioni e mezzo di donne. Mirko Zisi è un posturologo clinico che applica il "Canal Postural Method " che, da anni, si occupa di individuare il problema con una valutazione che si pone l'obiettivo di trovare l'origine del dolore: "Spesso -spiega- un paziente si lamenta di un fastidio al ginocchio e si interviene per risolverlo. La medicina cura quel dolore, ma non è l'unica soluzione perchè non viene considerato ciò che continua a porre sul ginocchio stesso". La valutazione posturale permette dunque di comprendere quali siano le reali cause del problema, di riprogrammare i compiti muscolari e quindi di abbassare le tensioni neuromuscolari, attraverso la somministrazione di esercizi cuciti su misura: "Ogni movimento della vita quotidiana o di uno sportivo -sottolinea Zisi- ha come risposta un atteggiamento di compenso quando si supera la tolleranza dell'organismo e di stabilizzare i compiti muscolari. Ne consegue che il sistema posturale viene modificato sia dal punto di vista funzionale che meccanico, creando quel dolore che può assumere varie forme. Lombalgia, sciatalgia, pubalgia o cervicalgia, tanto per fare degli esempi, sono problemi che nascono appunto da una postura errata".L'80% dei fastidi con i quali siamo costretti a fare i conti non ha dunque origine patologica ma nasce proprio da sovraccarichi muscolari che obbligano la colonna vertebrale a posizioni sbagliate: "Camminare, salire e scendere le scale, raccogliere qualcosa da terra, piuttosto che raggiungere un oggetto che si trova più in alto rispetto alla nostra altezza, significa utilizzare un insieme di strutture muscolari che compongono varie catene funzionali al gesto che stiamo eseguendo. Il compito del posturologo è di rendere stabile il sistema, attraverso il Canali Postural Method, comprendere la logica del compenso e rimuovere quegli impedimenti alle azioni funzionali del movimento .
