Generale del Dipartimento Agricoltura della Regione Basilicata, alla presenza dei rappresentati delle associazioni di categoria. Nel corso dell'incontro con l'assessore Alessandro Galella, con Eni e Alsia è stato fatto il punto sullo stato di avanzamento del Progetto e i risultati della prima fase di sperimentazione, condotta nel corso dell'ultimo anno da Alsia presso proprie aziende sperimentali.Ultimato questo primo ciclo di fase sperimentale per identificare le colture e le modalità di coltivazione più vantaggiose, Alsia ha emanato un bando per la selezione di aziende agricole terze per una fase sperimentale/dimostrativa che prevede la coltivazione a pieno campo. Al bando hanno risposto undici aziende agricole e tutte sono state ammesse ad accedere alla fase dimostrativa per la coltivazione di girasole, fino ad un totale di cinquanta ettari.Obiettivo di Agri Hub, uno dei progetti di sviluppo di Eni previsti dal Nuovo Protocollo d'Intesa e condivisi con la Regione Basilicata, è la creazione di una filiera agricola lucana per la produzione di semi oleaginosi e la realizzazione di un centro di estrazione (Agri hub) per la produzione di olio vegetale a fini energetici."Abbiamo ultimato la prima fase sperimentale del progetto - ha dichiarato l'assessore Galella - e con soddisfazione abbiamo riscontrato un grande interesse del territorio lucano verso le produzioni agricole a fini energetici.
