di effettuare lavori in edilizia libera ovvero senza necessità di permessi. In particolare, la nuova normativa include tra gli interventi di edilizia libera l’installazione di pergole bioclimatiche. Si tratta di particolari strutture dotate di una copertura realizzata in lamelle orientabili che permette di ombreggiare lo spazio sottostante, riparando dalla luce solare e dal surriscaldamento dei mesi estivi, ma anche assicurando la ventilazione. Inoltre, le pergole bioclimatiche riparano anche dalla pioggia grazie all’inclinazione delle lamelle e alla possibilità di convogliare l’acqua piovana in apposite grondaie integrate. Dunque, una serie di caratteristiche che rendono tale soluzione molto richiesta non solo per coprire terrazzi e porzioni di giardini delle abitazioni private, ma anche per riparare le aree esterne di locali pubblici e strutture alberghiere. A livello normativo non esiste una definizione specifica per tale tipologia di copertura il cui nome puramente commerciale individua una tipologia di prodotto la cui specifica “bioclimatica” deriva dal fatto che le lamelle orientabili permettono di regolare la circolazione della luce e dell’aria in modo naturale. Solitamente le lamelle delle pergole bioclimatiche sono realizzate in alluminio, mentre la struttura portante può essere in alluminio, acciaio, pvc o legno. In commercio esistono differenti tipologie di pergole bioclimatiche che si distinguono per specifiche caratteristiche. In base alla struttura possono essere autoportanti o addossate. Nel primo caso, la struttura portante è indipendente e poggia su 4 sostegni che sostengono la copertura lamellare. Tale soluzione è più adatta nei casi in cui si disponga di spazi più generosi come per giardini o ampi terrazzi. Nel secondo caso, invece, la struttura portante è appoggiata e fissata all’edificio e solitamente ripara dalla luce solare e dalle intemperie una superficie vetrata. Le pergole bioclimatiche si differenziano anche in base alla possibilità di movimentazione delle lamelle che può essere a lamelle orientabili fino a 180 gradi oppure a lamelle orientabili e impacchettabili che, oltre a permettere l’orientabilità delle lamelle, consente lo scorrimento lungo delle apposite guide e l’impacchettamento su un lato della struttura.
