(askanews) - La Nasa ha lanciato con successo la nuova capsula spaziale Starliner della Boeing, per il suo primo volo con equipaggio a bordo, verso la Stazione Spaziale Internazionale.La navetta, dopo la partenza dalla base di Cape Canaveral, in Florida (Usa), ha raggiunto la sua orbita e ora è in rotta verso l'Iss alla quale è previsto l'attracco dopo 25 ore di volo. Il rientro sulla Terra, invece, è schedulato dopo circa 2 settimane, durante le quali verranno validati i vari sistemi della Starliner affinché la nuova navetta possa finalmente essere certificata per affiancare le Crew Dragon di Space X e le Soyuz russe per trasportare astronauti da e par la base orbitante, dopo il pensionamento degli Space Shuttle, nel 2011.
