(askanews) - "Questo governo ha introdotto oltre venti nuovi reati, ha deciso l'inasprimento di pene, che hanno portato in due anni ad un aumento degli ingressi in carcere, accecati dalla vostra foga punitiva e da questo uso, per non dire abuso, del diritto penale per fini sensazionalistici e propagandistici". Lo ha detto la segretaria del Pd, Elly Schelin, intervenendo in aula alla Camera sul dl carceri. "In questa visione, per cui tutti i problemi sociali vanno affrontati con nuovi reati e vanno puniti sbattendo le persone dietro le sbarre buttando la chiave, voi dimenticate che quando si riempiono le carceri non è una vittoria per nessuno, è un fallimento di tutta la società", ha sottolineato Schlein."Ai colleghi della maggioranza dico, andateci anche voi a visitare le carceri, vi accorgerete che non c'è dentro un'umanità altra, è la stessa, è la nostra.
