E' quantosottolinea il sindacato bancario Uilca secondo cui tra il 2018 eil 2023 le tre regioni hanno rispettivamente visto ridurre lapresenza degli sportelli bancari nel proprio territorio del28,4%, del 25,9% e del 25%.Percentuali superiori alla media nazionale: -20,7% (-5.248), da25.409 a 20.161. I comuni serviti da banche in Italia, neglistessi anni, sono diminuiti del 13,4% (-717), da 5.368 a 4.651.Anche i dipendenti hanno subito un calo del 6% (-16.727), da278.152 a 261.425.Nel 2023, sono 4. 347.643 (pari al 7,4% dell'interapopolazione) le persone senza accesso a uno sportello bancario.Di questi, 1.373.919 sono over 60."La desertificazione bancaria continua purtroppo a registrare unandamento negativo.
