Dopo una settimana di temperature bollenti in tutta Italia, ne arriva un'altra. Bollente come e più della precedente. Gli esperti di 3bmeteo avvertono che quella iniziata oggi, lunedì 15 luglio, sarà una "settimana di caldo molto intenso con temperature anche di 10 gradisopra la media". E l'Italia non è la sola a soffrire: il caldo sarà eccezionale sull'Europa orientale.Le temperature così elevate sono la conseguenza di masse d'aria provenienti dal Nord Africa. Come spiega Francesco Nucera, meteorologo di 3bmeteo.com , "questa ondata di caldo si distinguerà non solo per l'intensità, ma anche per la durata e per l'estensione, interessando numerose nazioni dell'Europa, in particolare quelle orientali". Le temperature subiranno un ulteriore aumento ovunque, con valori che supereranno le medie stagionali di 8-10°C. Nelle zone interne del sud Italia, si prevede che i termometri possano raggiungere picchi di 40°C, mentre le temperature massime oscilleranno generalmente tra i 34 e i 36°C su molte località. Anche le coste, nonostante la brezza marina, non saranno risparmiate dall'umidità, rendendo l'atmosfera afosa e le giornate particolarmente calde. Il picco sarà raggiunto a metà settimana mentre qualche temporale potrà aversi sull'arco alpino. Il caldo si avvertirà anche di notte, con temperature minime che difficilmente scenderanno sotto i 20-23°C. Nei centri urbani, le temperature notturne potrebbero stabilizzarsi intorno ai 25-26°CL'attuale ondata di caldo estenderà i suoi effetti anche oltre i confini italiani, interessando buona partedell'Europa balcanica ed orientale, dove si registreranno temperature eccezionalmente alte, toccandopunte di 42°C. "Questa intensificazione delle ondate di caldo sul Mediterraneo, osservata già dagli anni 2000, è dovuta a un cambiamento nella circolazione estiva.
