L’Italia, in tutti i nodi irrisolti della politica del lavoro, è un Paese arretrato, premoderno. Disoccupati o lavoratori pagati troppo poco, e lo stallo che impedisce a gran parte delle donne di accedere a retribuzioni decorose, il “caso” agricoltura. Ecco dove la politica dovrebbe intervenire con sollecitudine, già in questo anno appena cominciato  ◆ Il corsivetto di VITTORIO EMILIANI► Per l’anno che viene ci sono molte aspettative di carattere economico e sociale. C’è però un acuto problema di carovita alimentare che riguarda fasce molto vaste di giovani e meno giovani. C’è un acuto problema di disoccupazione e/o di occupazione decisamente precaria con retribuzioni molto basse. Il Paese non riesce a riprendere un trend di sviluppo ma appare impantanato in una situazione di stallo che colpisce anzitutto la manodopera femminile spesso tagliata fuori dal mercato del lavoro. Quindi le aspettative rischiano di venire deluse e con esse quelle dell’intero Paese. Il reddito della sola manodopera maschile non basta infatti a qualcosa che vada oltre una problematica sopravvivenza. In agricoltura non ci sono state le integrazioni di tipo cooperativo o consortile che il mercato esigerebbe da tempo.
